The Lion City truly comes alive after dark! Here’s a guide to some of the activities and places that are best explored when the sun is down:
Night Safari - The World's First Nocturnal Wildlife Park


Opening Hours:
Daily from 7:15 PM to 12:00 AM (midnight). Last admission is at 11:15 PM.
What to Expect:
This award-winning park allows you to observe nocturnal animals in their naturalistic habitats. You can explore on foot via walking trails or take a guided tram ride through seven geographical zones.
How to Get There:
The Night Safari is located at Mandai Wildlife Reserve and can be reach by:
◾ MRT + Shuttle/Bus: Take the MRT to Khatib MRT Station (NS14), then take the Mandai Khatib Shuttle. Alternatively, take the MRT to Springleaf MRT Station (TE4) and then take public bus service 138.
◾ Taxi/Ride-hailing: Approximately a 30-minute drive from the city centre.
◾ Mandai City Express Coach: A private bus service with pick-up points from various city locations (e.g., Orchard, Suntec). Cost is S$8 per person per direction.

Don't miss the "Creatures of the Night Show" (check showtimes upon arrival) for an engaging display of animal talents. There are also dining facilities within the park.

What to Expect:
Mustafa Centre is a Singaporean retail institution, famous for being open 24 hours a day. It's a treasure trove of goods, from electronics and clothing to groceries and jewellery, all at competitive prices. It's a unique and bustling shopping experience, especially at night.
How to Get There:
MRT: Alight at Farrer Park MRT Station (NE8). Mustafa Centre is a short walk from the station.
Points of Interest
The sheer variety of goods available under one roof is an experience in itself. Be prepared for crowds, especially at night.

What to Expect:
Fish @ Bugis+ is a unique rooftop bar where you can enjoy prawning and fishing while enjoying drinks and food. It's a great place to relax and unwind with friends, offering a different kind of nightlife experience.
How to Get There:
Located at 201 Victoria St, #07-05 to 06 Bugis+, Singapore 188067. The nearest MRT station is Bugis (EW12/DT14).

Fish @ Bugis+ - Rooftop Prawning & Fishing Bar
Opening Hours:
Typically until 10:00 PM (last entry 9:30 PM). Adult: S$35 (non-peak) / S$39 (peak)
What to Expect:
For breathtaking panoramic views of the illuminated Singapore skyline, head up to the Marina Bay Sands SkyPark Observation Deck. Alternatively, indulge in a drink at one of Singapore's many stunning rooftop bars, offering incredible vistas.
How to Get There:
Alight at Bayfront MRT Station (CE1/DT16). Marina Bay Sands is directly accessible from the station.
Points of Interest
The SkyPark does not grant access to the Infinity Pool (exclusive to hotel guests). However, there's a kiosk for drinks and snacks. You can also catch the Spectra Light and Water Show at the Event Plaza outside Marina Bay Sands at 8:00 PM and 9:00 PM nightly (with an additional 10:00 PM show on Fridays and Saturdays).
Marina Bay Sands SkyPark Observation Deck
Opening Hours (Light Show):
Twice daily, at 7:45 PM and 8:45 PM. Each show lasts approximately 15 minutes. The outdoor gardens themselves are generally open from 5:00 AM to 2:00 AM.
What to Expect:
Witness the iconic Supertrees come alive in a spectacular light and sound show. The towering structures are illuminated in a dazzling array of colors, synchronized to a beautiful musical soundtrack, creating an enchanting atmosphere. It's a truly magical experience that showcases Singapore's unique blend of nature and futuristic design.
How to Get There:
MRT: Alight at Bayfront MRT Station (CE1/DT16). Take Exit B and follow the underground linkway, then cross the Dragonfly Bridge or Meadow Bridge into Gardens by the Bay.
Thomson-East Coast Line (TEL): Alight at Gardens by the Bay MRT Station (TE22) and take Exit 1 into the Gardens (next to Satay by the Bay).
Points of Interest
The Garden Rhapsody light show is free to enjoy. While the outdoor gardens are free, attractions like the Flower Dome and Cloud Forest have separate admission fees and close earlier (usually 9:00 PM). After the light show, consider a stroll along the OCBC Skyway (admission fee applies, generally open until 9:00 PM with last admission at 8:30 PM) for elevated views of the Supertrees and the city skyline. You can also grab a bite at Satay by the Bay, a hawker centre within Gardens by the Bay.
Gardens by the Bay - Garden Rhapsody Light Show
Opening Hours:
While individual establishments have varying hours, the general area is open from 10:00 AM to 11:00 PM (though many bars and clubs will be open much later, some till the early hours of the morning).
What to Expect:
Clarke Quay is a historical riverside quay transformed into a vibrant hub of restaurants, bars, and entertainment venues. The brightly lit facades and buzzing atmosphere make it a popular spot for both locals and tourists looking to enjoy Singapore's nightlife. You'll find everything from casual riverside dining to lively nightclubs.
How to Get There:
MRT: Alight at Clarke Quay MRT Station (NE5). The area is right next to the station.
Bus: Several bus services stop near Clarke Quay, including River Valley Rd - Clarke Quay (04211).

Other Points of Interest: Enjoy a leisurely Singapore River cruise (various operators available) for a different perspective of the illuminated city skyline, or simply wander along the riverside and soak in the lively ambiance
